How To Do Nordic Hamstring Curls

You know how strong you have to be to do a nordic hamstring curl. To do a nordic hamstring curl, you want to go slow down. You want to have a nice controlled eccentric until your chest hits the ground. As you come down, try to keep everything in alignment through the hips and the torso.

Once you hit the ground, put your hands on your butt and squeeze. Your chest will rise a little bit and then everything will come straight back.

Having a nordic hamstring curl machine makes performing the movement easier. However, if you don’t have the machine you can simply have a partner hold your feet down with a pad underneath your knees.

Perform the exercise at the end of your lower body day for 4 sets of 5 to 7 reps.
